Alas, Week 4 has begun, but we hope you all had a fantastic Easter Break >w< especially to those who came to the previous week's Marathon with Anime@UTS, our K&E last Tuesday, and Animania two days ago!! XD

This week, screenings resume (if you haven't already noticed ~_^) and more details can be found at our website www.suanime.org. We also highly encourage all of you to join our forums at www.animesydney.org (click on BBS tab > SUAnime) as well as our IRC channel on rizon (#suanime or #animesydney channels on irc.rizon.net)

Other than that, I hear we will be hosting a Trivia Night for the Anzac holidays, but more details will be released in due time! And, sorry for sounding like a broken record, but if you know a friend who hasn't been getting the mailouts, can you please tell them to contact me (secretary@suanime.org) or Greg (webmaster@suanime.org)? I'd much appreciate it ~arigatou!

We've now reached Week 3 on our calendar and the Easter break is fast approaching!!

First, Anime@UTS invites SUAnime to join their Screenings Marathon, so if you're free this Saturday, why not chill out with some anime and some fun while you're at it!!

• When: Saturday 22nd March
• Time: 11am-2pm, 1 hr lunch break, followed by another marathon from 3pm-6pm
• Where: UTS room 2.4.10, click for map

Karaoke & Eatout Event!! Banzaaai!

• When: Tuesday 25th March (during Easter Break)

Schedule:

• 12pm The Galleries Victoria Food Court (same level as JB-HiFi in the city)
• 2pm: Karaoke World, (185 Elizabeth Street Sydney CBD, NSW), cost $10-$15 depending on number of attendance
• 6pm: Dinner at Ghenghis Khan Mongolian BBQ (King Street Wharf, 30a Lime Street, SYDNEY NSW 2000, cost ~$25.80 pp (bring a little extra for drinks etc)
• RSVP: send 'em to Mat (events@suanime.org) and Paul (asst_events@suanime.org) by Good Friday, 21st March

Art Social

• When: weekly on Monday
• Time: 2-4pm
• Where: Wentworth Lv 2, where the execs normally meet *if troubled, just look for Steven ^_^

NB: this is an art social, so you can draw, talk, discuss and chill out with the execs... the art directors will most likely be there if you'd like to talk to them about art!

Also, a quick word on screenings... if you haven't noticed, all our posts and club info can be found on this webbie. Mailouts ahve been released, so hopefully most people got it *crosses fingers* but you can always welcome to check it on our animesydney forum!! Due to Good Friday, there will be no screenings on that day *gomen-ne. Of course, due to the Easter break, normal weekly screenings will resume in Week 4, so please don't turn up at uni during the break expecting screenings!!

Thank you all for braving the weather to join us at our Welcome BBQ and the picnic social last week! We all hope you all had a great time just as much as the execs did ^_^ Oh, and my apologies on behalf of the execs to anyone who hadn't received any news about those events from my last newsletter, it appears we had a few problems with our last mailout, but hopefully the new one turns out fine this time ^_^

Ok, Screenings* start in Week2!! In case you didn't know already, here are the screening details again!! *Note that the anime screened is subject to change without notice, and that SUAnime apologises for any inconvenience caused should the unlikely event occur

Monday- 1-2pm Chemistry Lecture Theatre 2, Comedy series Minami-ke and Moyashimon
Tuesday- 1-2pm, Architecture Lecture Theatre 3, Gundam 00 and Clannad
Wednesday- 1-2pm, Chemistry Lecture Theatre 2, Bamboo Blade and a MADMAN-Anime-of-the-month My-Otome
Thursday- 1-2pm, Architecture Lecture Theatre, Baccano!! and Random Screening
Friday- 1-2pm, Quadrangle Generic Lecture Theatre 1 (N205) (towards Pharmacy Bld), vote by website poll (see the screenings tab)

First, a really really BIG WELCOME to all our new and old members!! Thank you so much for braving the horrendously wet weather and joining up in O-Week, we hope you all had a great time before uni actually started! Also, I'd like to thank all of our hardworking execs who gave their time in manning the stall and making the best out of the rainy situation!!

For those of you unfamiliar with this newsletter, I am SUAnime's Club Secretary, Tiffany, affectionately known as Tiff and otherwise known as Drawen on most forums ^_^- how are you?

Just to reiterate, Screenings will start in Week 2 and more information will be given at the end of this week!

Time: 12noon til late
Where: Victoria Park (next to Fischer Library), meeting near the steps toward the main entrance to uni.
Contingency: Meet at Broadway Food courts if it rains (therefore bring an umbrella!!)
Cost: Free for members, please bring either a soft drink or a snack with you ^_^ And don't forget to have your SUAnime card and / or Access Card with you!!
